EasyType typing tutor is a quick and easy way to learn, develop and practice valuable keyboard skills. See real improvement in typing speed and accuracy with the progress tracking and scoring tool.
There are three keyboard courses:
Keyboarding Skills – Qwerty Keys
This will teach a candidate both upper and lower case on the alpha keyboard and incorporates the “Shift” key. There are 29 exercises in this course.
Keyboarding Skills – Numeric Keypad
This exercise will teach a candidate how to touch type using the numeric keypad. There are 3 exercises in this course.
Keyboarding Skills – Single Case
This exercise will introduce all the characters on the QWERTY keyboard but will not assess or train them using the shift key. There are 26 exercises in this course.
Please note all these courses are self paced and have been specifically designed to improve the skills of a novice typist as well as a more competent user. Consequently the training will go as fast or as slow, as required.
The training using the alpha keyboard can last up to 30 hours and ISV have case studies to show that after 30 hours of training a candidate is able to reach ISV’s benchmark of 99.8% productivity and a speed of 5,000 key depressions per hour (kdph). |
